1000 sq. ft Trex Deck Installation

This cumulation of photos displays one of our biggest projects to date.

A 1,000 square-foot Trex deck in the color of pebble gray with a Winchester blue picture frame & classic white aluminum railings.

Our company not only designed this deck but also handled the building permit process & all phases of construction. Planning and building permit acquisition for this project took nearly 6 months alone.

Here are some fun facts about this build:

-Before the build started, we removed 20 tons of concrete & debris, a set of concrete stairs, a wooden patio, a concrete patio, two concrete sidewalks, many stones, boulders, and an old chimney.
-We poured 22 - 12” wide by 4’ deep concrete footers.
-We added 5 yards of topsoil, landscape fabric & 5 yards of gravel to the site before framing commenced.
-We erected 85 linear feet of 6” x 10” triple glulam beams spread out between six different headers.
-We used 4000 linear feet of treated lumber, Trex decking & fascia.
-We installed over 5000 screws & fasteners throughout the build.
-Lastly, we installed 90 linear feet of railings.

Projects like this one don’t happen very often. But when they do, we treat them like a marathon, not a sprint. Depending on the municipality, a deck like this one can take almost a year from first contact with the client to its completion.
